Va Birodeo Herzenav e Edlervik–

Rejoice! Rejoice, Subjects of Haense, for as the Monarch reaches the age of majority, so too does he take upon himself the regal responsibilities, taking us to prosperity. As with every Haeseni Monarch taking upon themselves their royal mantle, the Enthronement Ceremony must commence - in a solemn display, the Sovereign is irrevocably bound to his Kingdom, and the Kingdom to him. Thus initiating the Haeseni Coronation, a tradition dating centuries, to the age of Saint Joren, to the Exalted Prophet, Sigismund, from which the Sovereign is to be anointed by the Holy Father, the Pontiff, in the sight of GOD, and the people.

It is also on this day that we commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of the Rothswood, a monumental conflict in our history from which we saw the restoration of the Kingdom of Haense, liberated from its conquerors and oppressors.

Near the end of the coronation, in its fourth quarter, the first Barovifest of Sigismund’s reign is to commence, in celebration of his enthronement. Thus, all festivities of the traditional event shall be hosted by the Royal Court of Hanseti-Ruska and begin directly after the conclusion of His Majesty’s coronation.

By Royal Decree, the King has taken his baptismal name, Sigismund, to be his primary styling, now henceforth recognized as His Royal Majesty, the King of Hanseti and Ruska, Sigismund the Second. A name derived from the Exalted Prophet, Holy Orenian Emperor, and Barbovic ancestor, Sigmund ‘Soothsayer’ Carrion.

As the Crown of Saint Francis the Martyr is placed upon Sigismund’s head, he is declared the Kingdom’s 16th Monarch, and the Biharist lineage’s 6th King.

All attendees are requested to adhere to the procession’s structure – any interruptions will be met with dismissal from the ceremony.

“Ah... And so the day has finally come!” The late King Andrik IV remarks from the Seven Skies, grinning from ear to ear as he watches his eldest son prepare for his coronation day.

“‘Sigismund II’... One has to admit, that name has quite a ring to it! A strong and fitting name for a King of Haense. You’ll do well, son; I know you will.”

Princess Tatiana Lorina, traversing the foliage-laden roads between the estate of her husband’s family, Selm, and her beloved and native Reza, beams as the news that her cousin Sigismund II, the late King Andrew’s successor,  was – at last – to be coronated and cemented as King of Hanseti and Ruska. At this time, she thought of her newly born daughter, the Lady Eleanor Victoria d’Arkent, her dear friend Queen Maya, and the celebrating Barbanov household.

“A better time is among us – one of advancement, and prosperity, but most certainly jubilation!”

Maya Barbanov beamed with pride as soon as she saw the missives regarding the coronation of her son released to the public eye. Soon after she watched over the numerous couriers leave the palace in their endeavors, she returned to the confines of the royal quarters to prepare the rest of her children –Analiesa, Alexandria, Amelya, and Nikolas– for the coronation that was to come.
