I hate how people assume they're inverted. You CAN still have fantastical realism. Realism doesn't mean we have to "banish" all fantasy RP to the corners of the map, it just means we have to be more realistic in our nature of RP. For example, if you get a strange disease which takes 3 months to develop before becoming uncurable, then you have to race the clock to find a medicine that works instead of just putting some vague and obscure "healing potion" on it.
