Hark, children of Adria!

Drole times make bored the once merry Adrian diaspora, the bright smiles and merry revelers of all nations now! But worry little, yes, worry only an itsy bit, for not just a Duma is being called - but a Dumapalooza!

 

All people are welcome to partake in these festivities, but only a few may elect a Duke! This missive serves only to see which families of these still live on, so we may better arrange the Duma itself! Coming soon will be a list of festivities and amenities, and an itinerary that those who are literate may follow.

Captain C. panted heavily, looking down upon the city of Helena- his city. The one he had protected from the brigands and bandits who would seek to do her ill. In his old life he had not been up to the task as a man, so he became more- an idea, for no one can kill an idea- hope is immortal. He slowly removed his mask panting heavily as the frosty mist overtook the dark and empty midnight square. He read the leaflet that had found it’s way to him.

 

“Time to go home.”

Matthias Rutledge grins wide in joy, as this entire time he thought Lady Lithren was deceased. He cannot wait to see his pseudo-aunt and let her meet all his children. He remembers fondly when Lady Lithren used to babysit the children, how they loved her black crow feathers.

Lithren gets ready to make a snide comment about being forgotten in the annuls of history or something before she even read the invitation, only for her mouth to be caught open as she sees she got a lil’ mention by name.

 

She smiles. She isn’t sure if she’ll be able to make it, since she retired on the opposite side of the world, but she smiles.

He brushes a hand along its base, as to remove some dust.
