It is not against the rules to steal in RP. You just initiate a heist with a /modreq so a moderator may oversee said roleplay.

Having theft be done solely via modreqs will probably remove any sort of sense of surprise surprise the theft otherwise would have had...

Not to mention the increased workload on the GMs who have to oversee even the tiny and petty thefts.

Looks like a dude wasn’t being funny and branded a mineman villain for life, I think the whole ‘your banned kid from halfling community’ is more toxic then a ‘who asked’ personally, but some are more sensitive then most. Should of kept the beef in dms rather then across the forums

Its simply easier for lotc to retain more players with this decision. End of the day player retention is what matters to admins. Not safety. Not RP. Just how many people actively play/donate. 

Actual roleplaying on a roleplaying server is secondary to the spreadsheet data as always

The largest nations are afraid of the individual nations/settlements/lair, of course, it is only necessary because otherwise all the little ones might outnumber their hugbox and try to ruin their well deserved hegemony!

Almaris was way worse than this map

The ice spike biomes with the hollow mountains, the other hollow mountain biome, the constant up down up down hills that made no sense, the incessant copy paste decorations everywhere, etc were horrible
Half the land was a pain in the ass to traverse or to build on, mostly due to surface of the map mostly consisting of constant jagged hills going up for 10 blocks, then right back down the next 10 blocks
Much prefer this map where once you've climbed a hill, you're not immediately looking at a steep downwards slope right after

That’s every map Laeonathan. You can only tell how good a map is after it has passed and a new map has come.

Almaris might improve a lot with a war rewrite and Vortex getting canned, so I don’t know if it’ll be remembered for it’s terribly long walk times or interesting wars that’ll come later in the map. Time will tell.

i dont mean this in a snide way but i unironically dont think there ever were any in your entire time on the server. every war has been a world war since like the fringe. 

the “world” is like 2 nations and a bunch of minor city states, every war is a world war

well like back in asulon and anthos there were a couple wars that were just 2 nations or a couple of military orders duking it out against each other, with little or no outside involvement at all. 

aegis wars were pretty world-wary though, mostly because they almost all happened on the main road and anyone who happened to be walking by would join in. 

;( maybe if you didnt ignore our emotes and waste 1 hour for us trying 2 search u then spamming looc and whining and crying ;( because u didnt want 2 be searched over some carrots and fought back and now u get punishment ;((((

^^ you guys weren't perfect either, just saying, when there is 6+ people all attacking one person, there is bound to be confusion, especially when you consider that I main halflings and am only used to RPing with 2-4 people at a time, I got overwhelmed with emotes (I'm sorry that I'm not the fastest typer in the world (Not sarcasm)) the main reader the RP lasted so long was because I didn't surrender, and you didn't spend an entire hour trying to search me (30 minutes? Maybe it felt longer for you guys, I dunno) GG fam, no harsh feelings. I got wrecked for my petty crime, And my hands were eaten by an orc you fed me too, and my head was chopped off as well, with some lucky fella getting it as a trophy. All for taking a few too many carrots. tough justice. Also, I don't remember you guys responding to my parrying  attempts, I guess in the end, we're all imperfect beings in an imperfect world. I hope my head makes a nice decoration :)
