      During my freshman year there were 4 times the fire alarm went off at our dorms. 3/4 times it was my floor. 2 times it was my roommate. All 4 times it was due to popcorn.

      Just because you can appeal does not mean you will get unbanned. Some times we decided its best to not let people return to the community.

      Nothing prevents them from appealing, it's the getting unbanned they get caught on.

      Cybering and pugsying are completely different cases. I don't agree with the cybering changes but in terms of rule-wise, cybering is normally lack of awareness of the rules (which is still no excuse) whereas pugsying is intentional disregarding of the rules and "going out with a bang", trying to cause the most grief you can before getting the boot.

      I've seen so many pugsy appeals denied on the premise of "pugsy is perma no exceptions" that I'm pretty sure pugsy is /not/ appealable at the present time.

      It's mildly bothersome that nobody who is very fond of the server goes and comments, as those comments certainly aren't representative of the playerbase.

    Random idea I had, would it be cool to have a periodic obituary released to commemorate recently PKed characters, where each character gets a little blurb and a screenshot of their skin or art? Just a low effort page that could be released every month or so (aka don't hate me for putting effort into non-essential things) that would allow players to learn about some characters they probably would otherwise never know about. Worth pursuing? (yes, this is a repost, want more opinions)

      I really don't like the idea of guns. It leads to complications, insta-kill if shot and it really won't fit in with magic unless somehow magic was able to counter it. It's a nice thought, but no guns please.
