Issued and Confirmed by the Office of the Palatine Aspirant,
10th of The Grand Harvest, 1715
Va birodeo herzanav e Edlervik,
By order of the Palatine Aspirant and Royal Duma the following is decreed:
The primary function of the Marian Retinue will once again be reinforced as the direct protectors of His Majesty, with the Knight Paramount being responsible for ensuring His Majesty always has capable men to protect him during any public appearances.
The Marian Retinue will be expanded in order to facilitate the succesful execution of the previous point.
All noble houses are expected to provide a squire from their family for the Marian Retinue unless there is already a knight with their family name in the Marian retinue or sufficient reasoning can be provided for the absence of any representation.
Those who hold titles or are the heir apparent to any titles will be prevented from squiring. It is expected of every knight of the Marian Retinue to focus their efforts on their knightly duties.
Knights of the Marian Retinue are held to the highest standards and any squire that is unable to live up to the expectations will be unable to fully join the Marian Retinue.
The Knight Paramount is responsible for the succesful execution of this reformation.
