Once we get off the temp maps LOTC will be fine again. This has happened before.

I feel it will have a swift start, with lotsa lag and lotsa players. I'm just scared that there will be nothing to keep them online for more than two weeks or a month.

The miasma was put up because within minutes of the initial explosion/corruption, we had 2-3 groups trying to invade and stop the madness, which is all well and good, but fact of the matter is half the people on lotc forget to create and enjoy the atmosphere of the world and prefer to end it abruptly. Which is ****.

But you know, if you wanna stroll up to an /undead/ fortress and expect not to get screwed inside out, then I dont really know what to tell you.

Atmosphere is all well and good but some people don't like atmosphere, and their characters almost certainly don't. Wouldn't make sense for them to sit around and wait for the Undead to create atmosphere before doing something.

If it was rp then change the name to something that makes more sense in rp.
