I suspect you haven’t read this, which I clearly mentioned in what I said. The Wandering Wizard lore has been part of LotC since 2011, though who is to say it is true and not just fiction.

Edit: I’ll also just mention that the creation lore is vague enough to the point that it doesn’t say if the Four Brothers are the first or just random brothers who rose in power. That is the purpose of being vague, to add mystery.

One person should mean months of prior RP get invalidated who wasn't even apart of it from the beginning? Perhaps I should point out how I had the Maheral voting system explained to me a bunch of old Haelun'orian players who were Maheral vote on who should be the present Maheral over Discord.  If we wanna call out one player for OOC plotting then I think we should look to the bigger problem of how OOCly ran Hnor is and how it was affecting players both IRPly and OOCly with their satisfaction of the RP they were getting, idk what else to say. Should note, not everyone was aware that Kiwi was involved, as it was kept hush hush, to prevent meta gaming that already happened to our side, so it wasn't exactly like we 'knew'.

isn't flip-flopping nations in wartime like, an RP thing though? Why does a rule need to be added to stop people from changing around due to RP development?

It literally forces people to participate in "factions" rp. Which is not what our new mission statement encourages. Nationality should be optional on cards 

@ShannonLeighye idk why this weird OOC loyalty to nations has to be enforced upon us through plugins now. Shouldn't be required for warclaim attendence tbh, just seems dumb. The way it's set up now if some RP happens and your character switches sides you have to like modreq to get the nationality changed lmao.

ive actually left the server once or twice without even noticing

just less and less it became a part of my day and moreso just a "i'll get back to it" kind of thing. Of course that hasn't happened while I've been manager, but, notably during mid-arcas (before and during Lagpocalypse) I just didn't play for three or four months, and I only really realised that once those months had passed. I realised all I was doing was just Lore work for a team, and I didn't really think as to where that work was going. 

Genuinely, I'd either be long-gone or just a no-name passerby on the server if I wasn't ST. I've done leadership, didn't like that, done slave-work as steward/marshal, was alright for a good while until I realised how snaky and careless some people can be when it comes to seperating OOC and IC, and the list goes on. I love lore work, I love working on events and lore for this server and providing to everyone on that front. I'm happy there, I'll stay there. 

Though I'll admit I've made a good few friends on here, even close and best friends during my darkest hour. If the server explodes tomorrow, I know my (ungodly amount of) time spent here was well worth it.

I been having fun with Luciensburg and Haense, and with some of these new event-lines popping up. I also don't play too long hours, it's much more healthy. Obviously, who would stay in a place where they lack friends? We are social creatures for the most part. 

There was a bed and breakfast in the Helena Tavern that rented rooms for awhile, not sure if it is still in operation. 

haense tavern is nice and busy, i run it and im working to get rooms rentable again pretty soon.

well let's hope the halfling ST members can get this cleared up somehow. I hope it was just a rogue action and not a thought out cohesive lore change because if it was a well thought out change the halfling leadership should've been included in it somehow at the very least, even if it's just a single discord DM to Jade_Emen or something.

i turned down the "increasing halfling age limits" suggestion, the wiki team member I don't think had play in it- probably a random player, because anyone may edit lore on the wiki.

Thank you aswell for coming to the Story Discord to talk about this. I think it's been made clear how much of an issue it is that lore is so easily manipulatable on the forums. If ever you are worried about something like this of course just let us know. We're as surprised (and irritated) as you are.

@SquakHawk checking the history of the halfling wiki page, it seems that halflings used to be generally around 3 feet tall. Then it got changed to 3-4. Then it got changed to 2-4. Then it got changed to 2'4''-3'0''. Now it's been changed to 2'3''-3'5''. Actually wack.

At least the 2'4''-3'-0'' edit and the 2-4 stuff were done by halflings. Still crazy to think how much the race I main has been changed and modified solely due to small edits on the wiki page.

yeah I thinks its cooler to claim 30 000 instead of 30. In actual wars these were just scout skirmishes, it's way better for this for storytelling
