I’ve been thinking on getting back on Albion but I need extra ram... hopefully i’ll come back at February

Yeah, one reset day I was on the kill team. Too many people on the same map ZvZing made me bluescreen. Computer hasn’t been the same since, can’t find as much motivation to play when I have a bluescreen risk.

@Phylarch Hey man, do your part to improve the server and I’ll do mine. Bet you didn’t know that were I not here the server would have been dead back in 2012? And several times since. It’s time to move past grudges, no hard feelings.

@Telanir What part is there to be done that others have not been sufficient? The current lore admin has gone through more story writer managements leads than others before. We got @bigcrazyand @Zarsies and @ScreamingDingo and who else will be next? If these people were not able to fix the main issue, being the director, then I know not at this point in time what can sir.  Were these three all the PROBLEM or unable to do what needed to be done, or one sole direction? I wonder.... 

I mean Zarsies left on his own accord to focus on his irl writing. He would have probably left no matter who the lore admin was

ET creatures don't need to be active, if they were active they'd be player creatures. You're the only person who cares so much about this because like I and Flamboyant said, they're just options for ET to use in events, it doesn't matter if they aren't used. Besides, how do you know these things haven't been used, what evidence do you have? Hell, Ratiki are being used in Belvits to cause issues for their citizens, that only goes to show that you're just blasting this out your ass.

Those aren’t open to the general public and sticking to lore isn’t really as important. If an ET powergames a creature its just a tougher event, at the end of the day its for an event not for general player use. 

Yes but they complain about a lorebloat and then refuse to get rid of things that are barely used by anyone. If you have a supposed lorebloat, then everything not used should be gassed. Not just player Magic and creatures. 

I don’t hear anything about lore bloat from the LT. We shelf lore that has little purpose or is inactive/outdated on the server. Event creatures are kept because their purpose is to be used for one time events. Removing event creatures just restricts the catalog of creatures event team can use for their events.

there might be many more elves and humans, but there's still plenty of dwarves and orcs, and kha can go **** themselves and die off already, they've overstayed their welcome and we need to revert back to the main four races

Indeed we did c: One week is now the official one year on the sever. There's a nifty /date command as well to see exactly what you think it would allow you to see, which is the date!

From what I know:
1 IRL hour = 1 day.
1 IRL day = 1 month
1 IRL week = 1 Year
So on LotC, there're 24 days in a month and 7 months in a year.

There is however the oddity of server resets. The server resets at sunset, and comes back up at sunrise. Not sure how that works out overall.

there is literally nothing wrong with one sentence apps. "Paul is a soldier from Senntisten who dreams of becoming a noble one day" is a perfect bio. these novella bios are so dumb because they're always forgotten about the moment the person actually starts playing and have no relevance whatsoever. the bio should just show they have some basic character in mind that they can flesh out as they roleplay and learn more about the world through playing.

@rukioOh? If its true then that's fuckin awesome. Honestly I want to see more Vampires doing Vampire stuff, but have only encountered 1. And it wasn't too fun. I'd like to see something like Sylvania from Warhammer, or with how Castlevania's Vampires have settlements that run a few towns and cities.

   To my knowledge, the Rex isn't accepting new clans right now. I believe he's more interested in getting members for the current clans. For the sake of information, however, it's worth noting that most clans are founded and named after an ancestor. There are some exceptions, of course, like Lak, which is named in honor of a lesser immortal. Most are named in reverence of an ancestor though. The best bet is also to make sure there's some defining cultural aspect to set the clan apart from the others somehow. Then, you'll wanna try to bring that aspect into your rp, so it actually matters. Now, I say all this after saying that a new clan's probably gonna be shot down instantly, but it's still worth knowing, I guess, if only out of interest.

@The North Teegahs involvement in this BR is mostly to bring attention to such things, let the public know that things like this shouldn't fly.

Not dead, just not as active. Pretty friendly little RP group you can interact with if you want, mostly just noobs and a few vets. Though it isn't as active as before, a few of the core members did leave.

Creatures/Magic are meant to fill specific niches and more, that normal Descendants are not able to with their ‘normalness’. I don’t see anything else on LotC that is remotely similar to Izkuthii, however, Satyrs and Cervitaurs are quite literally reskinned wood elves. Fae creatures should be mostly event creatures anyways.
