“Yeah I keep being told that even though I have yet to name a single settlement - Big think
That's not how activity is checked.”
This itself proves your ignorant. Orcs have a settlement, multiple if you count the one near Kaz’Ulrah and count Fort Strong. Staff are incompetent, you included. Yes, orcs have less numbers then humans, by a mega ton. Humans, every single map, have been a powerhouse of numbers. I’m sure you saw that 90% of human nations/groups obtained nation status/land next map, and Fenn beind the only elf nation as far as I know. Your ignorant, so stop speaking about the matter. If you’re original comment was directed towards halflings, then mention them, but from what I’m getting at, you mean orcs included. Your ignorant, so honestly just stop speaking about the matter, and it blows me away at how you’re staff with the level of passive aggressiveness you put off.

Since it's locked, I'll ask here. What's the point of having creation lore when it's never going to be brought up in character? Like- Genuinely what is the point? Is it for us to look at as players and go 'neat', or is there a reason I am not seeing?

I'm curious, how do you heat up a slice of pizza?

Looking for someone to make me a dwarf skin, will pay good minae!

I hope by now it is clear that most of the ‘toxicity’ that comes around player bases from their leadership is mostly derived from staff pushing the constant need to be on the server at a very consistent play-style, otherwise there is punishment that comes for not having as many people online as your neighbours. Which causes discontent between the leaders of the settlement who wants his little town to flourish and the residents who simply want to have a fun time on a server whilst also living their life outside of the server. Rules and punishments that revolve around time and activity only end up hurting what they are built to support.

I find unfair dumping all responsability on staff members, who at the end of the day are still players. The main problem is the desire to win against other players, and lotc being inherently competitive instead of cooperative.
To make an example, instead of a staged theater duel between two actors, LotC is an american football match.

@Salvo
at least if it was European football we could introduce the acting part ?

Why the hell is s-n-a-t-c-h and s-n-a-t-c-h-e-d censored words on the forums?

Anyone consider themselves compitent in linguistics or languages in general? Looking to create my own language for a fantasy feel, just requiring assistance with the spoken word as phonetics isn't my best face.

i genuinely find it disgusting that some people have this attitude of people not deserving to be on the server or not, purely based on the type of roleplay they enjoy as well as the type of combat, and then turn around to complain that our retention rate is crap...

So today I learned we have a build server- Is this something the community can use, or is it only reserved for our 5 event team builders?

If diamond armour and percentage weapons were trashed for a level playing field, then why were berserker axes added as a rare drop?

Dragon age series was great besides lacking abit with dragon age 2, the story line of swtor is actually getting really good now with the episodes, if you keep up with it as you go instead of spamming through text and grinding its pretty interesting plus cuts scenes are dope, the walking dead was some of the best story I have seen, the attachment to characters by the end is heart wrenching, of course last of us and elder scrolls series stuff including morrowind if you can stand the graphics its a good story, even elder scrolls online story is alright but again you need to keep with the story instead of grinding, last of us of course, Dying light was also a really interesting story and open world with co-op made it fun even after the story to just run down zombies and mess around. A lot of obvious ones but maybe something you might not of played, have fun.

Don't join staff and be opened to the dirty underbelly of the server, enjoy the server for the reason you joined.
